I routinely use a desktop or laptop computer for the lessons. I have just
tried to log in with my IPad, but can’t get logged in. I’m presented with
a ” change my password” screen. Why do I need another password for the IPad?
There is no separate log in or password just because you’re using an iPad. We have tested this with iPad and even iPhone without problems. I need more details about what you’re seeing. There isn’t a screen that says “change my password”.
Just make sure you’re accessing https://members.sudokuprofessor.com/. When you get there you should be presented with “Please Log In” requesting your email and password.
If you are continuing to have problems, please provide more information.
I have tried to log in on my iPad numerous times and the result is always the same:
1. I arrive at the login page
2. I enter my username and password
3. I tap on the blue LOGIN box
4. there is a moment while the site tries to connect and then it brings me right back to the login page still locked. Repeatedly ad infinitum!
5. I have changed my password; not sure if that has made a difference.
HELP!!
Issue has been resolved ( well mostly!)
Turns out that IPad uses Safari as default browser and that works well with the Professor
Website. Problem was that I use Chrome browser on all my devices. The plain fact is that
using the Chrome browser, one cannot log-in to your web page with I-Pad. Although my issue
is resolved by using Safari, you still need to investigate why your page won’t allow log-in
using I-Pad with a Chrome browser. Thanks.
OK; I have solved the issue but I don’t know why.
If I click on the link to the members site from the confirmation e-mail I am logged on to the site (lessons) right away.
Glad to be able to use the iPad!
